Big Hill Distillery is just down the road from us in Knutsford, producing premium small-batch gin in the Cheshire countryside.

Which means our job is simple: make sure the outside of the bottle lives up to what's inside it.

We work closely with the distillery to produce labels across its range, including George Dry Gin, Rose Pink Gin and a special-edition collaboration with Fortnum & Mason. Different bottles, different personalities — but the same obsession with getting the details right.

A label has a lot of work to do.

Before the cork is pulled or the first G&T is poured, it's already communicating quality. Colour, texture, stock and finish all contribute to that split-second judgement we make when we pick up a bottle.

For Big Hill, we litho print onto carefully selected premium uncoated stock, with metallic foil detailing adding depth and catching the light without turning the bottle into a disco ball.
