Bringing Manga to Life Through Print*
Taking artwork off the page and letting it loose in the building.
Urbis Centre Manchester
EXHIBITION PRINT · LARGE FORMAT · WALL GRAPHICS · FINE ART PRINT
Colour. Character. Movement. Drama.
The Manga Exhibition at Manchester's iconic Urbis Centre demanded an environment every bit as expressive as the artwork inside it.
Working alongside the designers and exhibition curators, we produced the visual elements throughout the exhibition, using print to transform the building into an immersive celebration of Manga art and culture.
There was no single format and no one-size-fits-all production solution.
Which made things considerably more interesting.
Walls. Floors. Signs. Art. Neon.
Print travelled everywhere.
Across walls. Across floors. Onto mounted displays and through the wayfinding.
We produced bespoke wallpaper, large-format graphics, floor graphics, mounted artwork, fine art prints and signage, alongside striking neon features.Take the Art Off the Page
The result was an exhibition that didn't simply put art inside a space.
It used the art to change the space.
When the artwork refuses to blend into the background, why should the walls?
