When the pitch becomes Monkey Business*

Sometimes a proposal needs to do much more than present an idea.

It needs to be an idea in itself.

For garment printing specialists Shirt Monkey, we created a completely bespoke, one-off pitch presentation designed to make an impression before the first page had even been turned.

Taking inspiration from the Shirt Monkey name, we built the entire concept around The Three Wise Monkeys — See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil.

From the printed garments and packaging to the papers, materials and smallest finishing details, everything followed one creative thought.

And we mean everything.

A Pitch They’d Remember

At the heart of the presentation were three individually printed garments, each housed inside its own eco glass presentation tube.

To bring the concept to life, the lids were finished with metal monkey details representing See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Speak No Evil — turning the packaging itself into part of the story.

The accompanying screwbound presentation document was produced using beautiful GMUND Chlorophyll Blattgruen stock, its rich, natural appearance complementing the creative direction and giving the proposal a suitably premium, tactile finish.

And because stopping there would have been far too sensible, we lined the presentation box with artificial turf.

A small detail. Completely unnecessary.

Absolutely necessary.

More Than a Presentation

This was conceptual print at its most playful — bringing together design, packaging, print, materials and a little theatre to turn a business proposal into something people would actually remember.

When you’re pitching creativity, the presentation should demonstrate it — not just talk about it.

Every element earned its place, from the choice of paper to the monkeys on the lids and, yes, even the artificial turf beneath them.

The result was a completely bespoke, high-end presentation with personality, humour and meticulous attention to detail.

A pitch you could see, hear and talk about.
